In this second Bawdy Bard/Kevin Karstens production based on Bill Amend's comic strip Foxtrot, we see the youngest of the three Fox children, Jason, taking the strap to his teacher Miss O'Malley. It is, of course, consensual - BB wouldn't have it any other way - and as the boy involved is giving rather than receiving the spanking, it's certainly fine with us. (While we agree that a boy spanking a woman might be affected by the experience, we maintain it's nowhere near as bad as the results when the spanking is the other way around - the unfortunate norm.)
Of course if we take the content of a humor cartoon that seriously, we're probably missing the point. It's certainly necessary to exercise good judgment in evaluating spanking cartoons because problematic elements are often present such as incestuous relationships, gratuitous nudity, explicit sex (a lot of Julius Zimmerman's stuff we have declined to print despite it often being quite funny), technical "non-consensuality" (e.g. Phantom Spanks Queen Pera, where the female spankee is so strongly attracted to the male spanker because of his manly resolve in spanking her we believe that retroactive consent, as we have termed it, applies) and, of course, children getting spanked. At the same time, a cartoon's creator(s) should be allowed a certain license as long as they don't go too far, and for the conscientious editor it can be a difficult balancing act at times. In the present case, as no truly sexual relationship is implied here we felt we should go ahead and share it with our readers.
