Last time, Catwoman got herself paddled by a female sprite. This time it's a different sprite who takes her over his knee - Bat-Mite! And just who, you may ask, is he?
Well, as we've mentioned before, most of the Golden Age super-heroes went out with World War II, leaving
the early 1950s comics dominated by the War, Western, Romance, and Science Fiction genres. Batman was one
of the surviving super-heroes, but even after the super-hero resurgence of the Silver Age beginning in
1956, he had lost his way a bit. Now, Superman had a long time foe known as
Mr. Mxyzptlk (after Joe Btfsplk from Li'l Abner), so someone (probably long-time Batman writer
Bill Finger, who in fact was Batman's main creator) decided that Batman should have his own version of
Mr. Mxyzptlk. Like Mxyzptlk, Bat-Mite, who first appeared in Detective Comics #267 (May 1959) is an imp
from the 5th dimension with magical powers which he uses here to remove Catwoman's costume and, presumably, to
bend her over his knee as he floats in the air. His attempts to help Batman often went wrong, but he sure goes
right here as he contemplates Catwoman's bare bottom with an impish grin. 
The artist is Rene Micheletti, who is a working professional in the comics industry. He's done a lot of independent art featuring superheroines including a fair amount of bondage and one or two other spankings that we'll see in the future. Micheletti obviously has a solid technique, a clean line, and a taste for beautiful women! This one was commissioned by an unknown patron, whom we expect was very happy with it. Hat tip to him, because very few people would have thought of this particular pairing, and to Micheletti who executed it so well.
