Prior to researching this entry into our current series highlighting the work of Bawdy Bard we had never seen the comic strip Buckles by David Gilbert. It turns out to be a charming little strip starring a dog named "Buckles" whose innocent perceptions and mis-perceptions drive the stories. This cartoon is completely in line with that modus operandi: Buckles sees his owners, Paul and Jill Haggerson, engaging in some spanking foreplay and can only relate it to getting swatted with a rolled-up newspaper.
BB's usual predilections are probably familiar to CSR readers by now, but just in case we'll mention the light bondage and complete consensuality that complement the humor, while Kevin Karstens deftly blends eroticism into that same humor.
