CSR readers were briefly introduced to Deadpool in Deadpool Spanks Harley Quinn #1, but as we're going to see him again now we might as well say a few more words about him.
Like Wolverine, Deadpool was a subject of the Weapon X program, and also like him has some sort of regenerative "healing factor". His first appearance was in The New Mutants #98 (1991), and he sort of remained in orbit around the various X-groups. Forgive us for not knowing more details, but we never followed what we called the "X-Crap" titles (anything othe than X-Men, which was the first) and were dismayed by their great popularity in the 80s and 90s when we were still very interested in comics.
Domino, our spankee, like Deadpool debuted in The New Mutants #98 and was then featured in several X-Crap books. We've never read any of these comics, but she seems less original than Deadpool, a retread stitched together from other characters and ideas. She was a product of the government project Armageddon, intended to create the perfect human weapon (cf. Weapon X), and has the power to manipulate probability (cf. The Scarlet Witch and her "hex" power).
Thus prepared, let's move on to the spanking, which we think must have been commissioned of artists Derek and Lora Griffin. We'll see an initial sketch and four finished or semi-finished versions that we found up for auction. They look pretty complete to us, but we include the possibility they are only semi-finished due to the fact they were being auctioned off instead of being sent to the commissioner.
We think we prefer the first two because of Domino's well-shaped buttocks, but the OTK positioning is certainly better in the second pair, reminding us of the way Dan DeCarlo did it in his Humorama cartoons even though Deadpool's leg muscles are going to get tired with his knees bent like that, in contrast to DeCarlo's spankers. (See e.g. Principal Spanks Teacher, where the principal is properly seated in a chair - the best way to execute an OTK spanking. The teacher-spankee may well be the actual model for Domino here.)
