Wonder Woman would seem to have a legitimate gripe here: "Hey! How come I'm being lumped
in for a paddling with these two notorious super-villainesses Harley Quinn and
Poison Ivy?"
To which one might reply, "Well, Diana, there were three spanking benches available, and when
the subject of paddling Harley and Ivy came up we naturally thought of you for the third spot."
We don't know the intended scenario here. Perhaps Batman (easily identified on the left),
having collared Harley and Ivy, figured he needed some help in paddling both of them at the same
time and called in a fellow Justice Leaguer - which one we're not sure because the uniform on
the guy in the middle resembles those of Hawkman (but he wore cross-straps over a bare
chest, not a green shirt), the Martian Manhunter (but his cross-straps were always red), and
Green Arrow (but his straps were more like lacing for his doublet, and they were green,
not brown, plus he was always such a blowhard that it's hard to imagine Batman getting along
with him). And of course the guy standing behind Wonder Woman and enjoying his handiwork is
Superman.
Perhaps that's how our little threesome found themselves bent over the benches, bottoms bared
and raised high for the paddle. The expressions on their faces are the high points of
this drawing technically (the high points geometrically are their upraised behinds): Harley's
is one of resignation - she's been caught doing wrong again and understands that means a
spanking; Ivy's is the complex one of a strong woman proud to be humbled by the right man; Diana's
is one of surprise at being paddled along with the other two as we mentioned above. We may
question her sincerity since you'd think that someone who's been spanked so often before would
regard it as an occupational hazard by now, not to mention her long history that has led people
to believe she's a spanko.
