Probably the most natural spanker for Veronica Lodge of Archie Comics is her father. After all, he gave her two good OTK spankings in the comics (The Ming Vase Episode and Mr. Lodge Spanks Veronica) while Archie only whacked her butt twice by accident (The Old Mosquito Gag and Veronica Spanked with Tennis Racquet). Add to that the fact that Veronica sometimes acted like a spoiled brat and it was probably inevitable that Mr. Lodge would turn her OTK. He does so here in a drawing by an artist named "Wardle" who obviously intended the piece as a kind of homage (a spanking homage, which is fine with us!) to long time Archie chief artist Dan DeCarlo. We don't know anything about this artist and can't remember where we found this one.
Wardle's rendition of Mr. Lodge does indeed resemble DeCarlo's model although his Veronica has a much bigger mouth. The viewing angle Wardle chose works fine for the spanking (which is the most important thing) but it does make drawing Veronica's face more difficult since it is shown in profile. Nonetheless, with good OTK positioning, well-defined buttocks, and plenty of pained exclamations from Veronica, this is quite a satisfying bit of spanking art.
