From the old Superfriends cartoon series, Supermarv gets spanked by Wonder Woman. Superfriends ran for twelve years on ABC, from 1973 to 1985 - an incredible run by today's standards, when most cartoon series are here today, gone tomorrow (The Simpsons being a notable exception). It was produced by Hanna-Barbera, although to us it always had the look of a Filmation production, and in keeping with H-B's standard practice, two teen-age sidekicks, Wendy and Marvin, and their dog, Wonderdog were added to the cast. None of them had any super-powers, but Wonderdog could think and speak (cf. Scooby-Doo and other H-B cartoons). They appear to have been sort of superheroes-in-training rather than mere hangers-on, and as odd as that may seem, the Justice League (whose members were the stars of the show) did have its own teen-age sidekick, Snapper Carr, in the early years of the Justice League of America comic book
We can readily understand the necessity of spanking a female superheroine-in-training, but males (and dogs) should be exempt. Unfortunately, not everyone agrees, and it's Marvin who gets spanked by Wonder Woman in this cartoon by an unfamiliar artist named "Max". Both characters do resemble their models in the series, which is about all we can say in its favor. Now, if it had been Marv spanking Wonder Woman instead...
